Harold C. 'Butch' Hoover

Harold C. "Butch" Hoover Jr., 54, of New Cumberland died Thursday surrounded by his family.

He was born Sept. 18, 1952, in Harrisburg to Anne B. Schell Hoover of Camp Hill and the late Harold C. "Sam" Hoover.

Mr. Hoover was an enterprise systems manager for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, Harrisburg, and the owner of Hoover's Sports Equipment.

He was a former coach and player for the New Cumberland Twilight Baseball Team, a former coach for New Cumberland American Legion Baseball Team, and a former coach for the New Cumberland (formerly St. Theresa's) Saints football team.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Dowhower Hoover; a daughter, Amy Hoover of Swatara Township; a brother, Todd E. Hoover of New Cumberland; and four grandchildren, Chris and Jazmyn Reid and Tianna and Tamiea Goodman.

<B>Hoover </B>— Friends of Harold C. "Butch" Hoover Jr., who died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, will be received from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at <B>Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services</B>, 1303 Bridge St. New Cumberland. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. after visitation.
