Rick Timko
Rick Timko, 75, of Pine Township, formerly Hilton Head, S.C., and Saxonburg, passed away surrounded by family Thursday.
He was husband to Claudia; brother to Ken, DianeLee and Maureen; father to Scott, Eric and Tyler; and a hero to Zack, Hunter, Cole, Trevor, Troy, Gianna, Dalton and Dia.
The legacy of Rick is a wonderful marriage of 53 years; three successful sons, all married for 27, 24 and 20 years; grandchildren; a thriving business; and for being known as the guy who raised llamas. That ain't too shabby.
Rick was a friend to everyone he met. He was generous beyond pale. He uplifted those he met and made the lives of everyone around him better.
He provided for not just his immediate family but all his family. Rick never sat back and waited to see what life brought. He sought out family, fun and a life of adventure.
Rick traveled the world, spoke his mind bluntly and consumed all this world had to offer as well as unbelievable quantities of wine.
He was a businessman, a farmer and a mounted sheriff. He never settled for mediocrity.
His family loves and misses him terribly.
