Scott Kanary

Scott Kanary, 61, of Sarver, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, at Magnolia Place in Saxonburg.

He was born April 30, 1960, in Grove City, and was the son of the late George T. Kanary and the late I. Joanne (Shuck) Kanary.

Scott retired in 2015 after working 34 years as a federal employee, and since 1984, at the U.S. Department of Justice in Pittsburgh.

Survivors include three brothers, Thomas Kanary of Provo, Utah; Randy Kanary of Sarver; and Gene “Rusty” Kanary of New Castle.

Kanary — Burial will be private for Scott Kanary, who died Friday, Sept. 3, 2021.

Memorial donations may be made to the Scott Township Volunteer Fire Department, 3712 Harlansburg Road, New Castle, PA 16101.

Fox Funeral Home of Saxonburg, is assisting the family with arrangements.
