Lois Joan “Joanne” Critchlow Rodgers
Lois Joan “Joanne” Critchlow Rodgers, 95, of Prospect, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away Tuesday at Holy Family Manor in Pittsburgh following an illness.
Born Feb. 22, 1922, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Rosco and Lois Lepley Critchlow.
She retired as a home economics teacher from Woodland Hills School District.
She was a founding member of the Prospect Area Preservation Society, where she provided Critchlow family history and enjoyed setting up displays. She also belonged to the College Club at Carnegie Mellon University.
Her hobbies included reading, genealogy, gardening and she enjoyed making many kinds of different crafts.
She was the loving mother of Mary Jo (Jim) Rogenmoser of Millington, Tenn., William “Buck” Rodgers of Greensburg, Alice (Bill) Murtha of Pittsburgh and Margaret “Maggie” (Kenny) O'Leary of Pittsburgh; grandmother of seven granddaughters; and great-grandmother of six great-grandsons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Rodgers, who passed away in 1993; her sister, Eliza Critchlow; and her brother, Ross Critchlow.
RODGERS — Family services for Lois Joan “Joanne” Critchlow Rodgers, who died Tuesday, July 18, 2017, will be held Saturday at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main St., Prospect. The Rev.
