Motko 50th anniversary
Jerome and Mary Lou Motko of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Motko married the former Mary Lou Piroch on June 17, 1972, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Butler.
They have two children, Jerome “Jay” Motko Jr. of Butler, and Carla Knapp of Indianapolis, Ind.
Motko retired in 2002 as a technician in the quality department of Armco/AK Steel. He served as a salary union representative for more than 25 years.
Mrs. Motko retired from American Hardware/Servistar in East Butler where she served in several departments including accounting and as a secretary to the manager of the merchandise sales department.
The Motkos are members of All Saints Parish in Butler where they attend St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, and are members of the St. Vincent de Paul Conference.
Mrs. Motko is also a member of the Ladies of Charity, Our Lady’s Rosary Makers and Yarn Spinners.
