BUTLER TWP — A multiple-vehicle crash at 2:30 p.m. closed a section of Route 68 near its intersection with Duffy Road.

One of the vehicles ended up on its roof and a driver was pinned in one of the vehicles.

A medical helicopter landed in a school parking lot to transport one of the injured persons.

The accident also caused a power outage in the area, including some traffic signals, according to emergency radio transmissions.
