VERONA — Rob McClellan of Butler Country Club and amateurs Robert Foust, Sean Foust and Marshall Marbour carded a 135 to place third at the Imperial Headwear Pro-3 Amateur Monday at Green Oaks Country Club.
Ed Habjan of host Green Oaks, along with Doug Cargnel, Marc Olin and Harold Balk tied with Mike Papson of Valley Brook Country Club with Steve McCloskey, Bernie Lalli and Daryl King for first place at 134.
LOCK HAVEN — Slippery Rock University javelin standout Lexi Arnold was named the PSAC Female Field Athlete of the Week after winning the SRU Qualifier with a personal-best throw of 44.83 meters (147-1) in the javelin.The throw is the fifth best recorded in the nation this season.
SAXONBURG — The Pitch, Hit & Run competition was held Sunday in Harrison City.
