Barry A. Moore

Barry A. Moore, 70, of East Brady died Sunday at his home after a brief illness.

Born March 22, 1947, in Allegheny County, he was the son of William and Florence F. (Knott) Moore.

On Oct. 26, 1967, Barry married the former Pamela K. Foust who survives.

Barry was a true example of the phrase “if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.” He began a 40-year career driving a truck in 1970 and purchased his own truck in 1990. Barry reluctantly retired in 2010 after an injury.

Barry was a member of the 244 F&AM Masonic Lodge in Kittanning as well as the Syria Shriners and the New Castle Consistory.

He enjoyed mowing and plowing snow and could always be seen helping his friends and neighbors with their yard work. You could always find his best four- legged friend, Rudy, not far behind him. He enjoyed the time he spent with his grandson, Ryan, and was always proud of his accomplishments and enjoyed attending his sporting events.

Surviving are his wife, Pamela Moore of East Brady; one son; Barry and his wife, Tammy Moore, of Rimersburg; and one grandson, Ryan Moore of Rimersburg.
