Dale Eugene Ealy “the VCR Man,”
Dale Eugene Ealy “the VCR Man,” 81, of Renfrew passed away Friday at the VNA Hospice following a lingering illness.
He was born Aug. 21, 1934, to the late William and Berdie (Bowser) Ealy.
Dale was a retired truck driver. He was well-known as “the VCR Man” at the local flea markets and had acquired a reputation of being fair and honest in his trade.
He was the beloved husband of Shirley Jean (Hilliard) Ealy. They had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Feb. 23, 2015.
Dale is survived by his six children, Glenda (Gary) Seybert of Harrisville, April (Daniel) Brown of Melbourne, Fla., Dale Ealy of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Donald (Phyllis) Ealy of Queen Junction, Daniel Ealy (companion, Judy Hartman) of Butler and Darrin (Lori) Ealy of Renfrew.
He also is survived by two sisters, Rosella Brendt of North Carolina and Shirley Woods of Florida; one brother, James Ealy of Sarver; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, William and Robert.
EALY — Friends of Dale Eugene Ealy, who died Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until the time of the service at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W.
