David A. Bowser

David A. Bowser, 65, of Mercer passed away Sunday at the Grove City Medical Center.

Born Aug. 9, 1950, in Butler, he was a son of the late James P. and Eleanor (Beneigh) Bowser.

He retired in 2003 from the Pennsylvania State Parks Maintenance Department following 30 years service.

He enjoyed model automobiles, collecting trains and was an avid NASCAR fan.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife, Naomi (Daugherty) Bowser, who he married Sept. 17, 1994; five brothers, James Bowser of Butler, Robert A. (Diane) Bowser of Slippery Rock, William J. Bowser of Butler, Douglas (Margie) Bowser of Evans City and Frank Bowser of San Diego, Calif.; his sister, Donna Bowser, and his aunt, Marian Beneigh, both of Butler; his brother-in-law, Chuck Blair; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Blair and Sara “Sally” Bowser.

BOWSER — Friends of David A. Bowser, who died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
