BUFFALO TWP — Lernerville Speedway will hold its annual mid-season championships Friday night with big rewards coming to the feature winners.

Winner of the Late Model feature receives an automatic starting spot in next weekend’s Firecracker 100. Freeport graduate John Garvin, coming off his first feature win at the Sarver oval in nine years last week, leads the track points standings by two over Alex Ferree and 10 over Jared Miley.

Winner of the Sprint feature receives an automatic berth in the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XXXI race July 6. A.J. Flick has won the last two Sprint features at Lernerville and leads the points race by 20 over Sye Lynch.

A guaranteed starting spot in the BRP Modified Tour event at the Steel City Stampede is on the line in the Modified feature. Jeremiah Shingledecker leads the points race by 11 over Brad Rapp.

The Pro Stocks feature winner gets a guaranteed starting spot in the Penn/Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series race Aug. 5 at Lernerville. Tyler Dietz leads the Pro Stock points trace by 14 points over Todd Weldon.
