Carolyn I. Logan

Carolyn I. Logan, 91, formerly of Mars, passed away Thursday morning at the Vincentian Home in McCandless Township.

Born June 7, 1924, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Viola Schell Gabosch.

Carolyn had been the owner of Logan Lanes in Mars and was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church. She also belonged to the Mars American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She was the mother of Thomas Logan (Norma) of New Mexico, James Logan (Carol) of Pittsburgh and Karen Logan Harris of New Mexico; the grandmother of Jessica Harris, Iian Logan and Emily Orsovay; the great-grandmother of Carly, Zachary and Nicholas Orsovay; and the sister of Robert Gabosch of California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Logan, who she married March 31, 1944, and who died on Feb. 14, 1991; one granddaughter, Gretchen Orsovay; one brother; and one sister.

LOGAN — Friends of Carolyn I. Logan, who died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home INC., 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Graveside services will follow at the Crossroads Cemetery, Route 910, Gibsonia.Memorials may be made to the Crossroads Cemetery Association, c/o the Reichhold Family, 247 Logan Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044.Directions and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
