Darla M. Brehm

Darla M. Brehm, 57, of Madison Heights, Va., formerly of Hilliards and California, passed away Dec. 1 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Darla was born Aug. 22, 1958, in Elwood City. She was the daughter of the late Donald K. Heller and Jeannetta Nye Heller Arnold.

Darla retired from United Healthcare, where she was a manager.

She was a member of the El Dorado Park Community Church, the Way Out Ministry, the Knott Ave Christian Church and the Calvary Chapel in Lynchburg, Va.

Darla is survived by her mother, Jeannetta Arnold of Karns City; one daughter, Jennifer Patrick and her husband, Keith, of Madison Heights, Va.; one son, Jason Brehm and his wife, Candice, of Lynchburg, Va.; and 10 grandchildren, Kaden, Josiah, Micah, Kylie, Kara, Kenna, Kason, Kaleb, Keelan and Kowen.

Also surviving are three sisters, Crystal Yeager and her husband, Mark, of Chicora, Janet Rodgers and her husband, Doug, of Petrolia and Nichole Snyder and her husband, Bud, of Karns City; one brother, Donald C. Heller of Karns City; two stepsisters, Bethann Tedeski and Karen Butler; one stepbrother, Chris Arnold; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her father, Donald K. “Butch” Heller, Darla was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Lewis Heller, and her stepfather, Sidney Arnold.

BREHM — Friends of Darla M. Brehm, who died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the V.D.S.S.A., Old Brick Road, Hilliards.
