PAINT TWP, Clarion County — State police are investigating a three-vehicle crash on Route 66 Friday that left one man dead.

Brian Rozanski, 26, of Rimersburg was riding a motorcycle south along Route 66 "at a high rate of speed" when a northbound vehicle driven by Ruby Norton, 76, of Shippenville crossed into his lane while turning left into the Zacherl Farm Market, according to a police report.

The motorcycle struck the front of the vehicle, knocking off Rozanski's helmet and throwing him about 180 feet. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A vehicle driven by Wayne Rees, 38, of Pittsburgh was hit with debris from the crash.

It is unknown if Norton or Rees was injured.
