Criley

Larry J. Criley, 59, of Butler died Friday with his loving wife by his side at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Born March 9, 1951, in West Winfield, he was a son of Dorothy (Raymer) Criley and the late Joseph Criley, Jr.

He had worked as a lab technician for the Penn Dixie/Armstrong Cement Co. for 30 years.

He was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville, and the R.C. Mens Club, where he played in its Monday night golf league at Hiland Golf Course. He was an avid golfer, and also enjoyed playing computer games, going on trips to the casino, and watching his grandchildren play.

Surviving are his wife, Rita A. (Geibel) Criley, who he married May 6, 1972; a daughter, Amy and Dave Gatz of Butler; a son, Brian and Danielle Criley of Butler; his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Criley of Fenelton; a brother, Jeff Criley of Salamanca, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Riley and Addison Gatz, and Nora Criley, and Eva and Josie Criley; and several nieces and nephews.

<B>CRILEY — </B>Friends of Larry J. Criley, who died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the <B>GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, </B>201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, with the Rev. Donald Bischof, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
