An Ellwood City man has pleaded guilty to one robbery and one attempted robbery in Butler County, both occurring in about 15 hours.

Shawn Aaron Hobel entered his plea this morning just before his trial was set to start in the Butler County Government and Judicial Center.

He was accused of robbing a Muddy Creek Township convenience store Oct. 24 and a Worth Township general store later that same day.

He will be sentenced May 27.
