Farm bureau to host spring meeting at Prospect fire hall
PROSPECT — The Butler County Farm Bureau's spring meeting is 6:30 p.m. April 5 in the Prospect Volunteer Fire Hall, Main Street.
A buffet dinner will be served.
County farmer-rancher Sandy Craft, head of farm crisis management, will speak on the topic, “Who we are.” The program includes committee and service reports.
There will be a drawing for those in attendance for a 2019 paid membership to the farm bureau and other door prizes.
Please bring nonperishables food (canned items and cereals), paper products or a cash donation to benefit the Ronald McDonald House at Farmers Care Day on April 12 in Pittsburgh.
Cost of the dinner is $15 per person. Reservations and check made payable to Butler County Farm Bureau are due by Thursday to Evelyn Minteer, 362 North Road, Butler, PA 16001, or call 724-283-6719 for more information.
