Truck driver injured when rig overturns on I-79 ramp
MUDDY CREEK TWP — A man was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital this afternoon after his tractor-trailer overturned on an Interstate 79 off-ramp.
After responding to the 1:16 p.m. call, emergency crews temporarily shut down a southbound section of the interstate to create a landing zone for the helicopter.
The Butler County Communications Center reported the truck was not carrying hazardous materials.
