The closing on Butler County’s sale of the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to a New Jersey company may occur by Sunday.

The county commissioners this morning amended the sales agreement with Investment 360 of Lakewood, N.J., to enable the closing to occur closer to the date the state approves a transfer of the nursing home license.

County solicitor Mike English said the state informed the company its approval would come this week.

Under the original contract language, the closing would happen the month after the state approval if it was granted by the 15th of the prior month.
