A Butler County girl won first place in a Department of Agriculture poster contest and will be presented with her prize during the upcoming Pennsylvania Farm Show.

Lindsay Lipp, a third grader at Connoquenessing Elementary School, won first place in the age 8 to 11 category of the Strength in Our Diversity 2018 Fair Season Poster Contest.

Lipp, along with the other winners, will be recognized during an award ceremony at 3 p.m. Jan. 10 during the annual farm show slated Jan. 5 to 12 at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.

She is the daughter of Steve and Heather Lipp.
