North Catholic gets 3rd principal in 2 years
CRANBERRY TWP — Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic High School has its third principal in two years.
Luke Crawford was been named the new principal effective Thursday, according to Diocese of Pittsburgh Bishop David Zubik.
Crawford was the school’s chair of the religion department and was the dean of students this past school year. He has worked in Catholic secondary education for eight years, seven of them at Quigley Catholic High School in Baden.
He succeeds Ann Gaudino, who served during the 2014-2015 school year. Gaudino started in December, replacing Kellie Abbott, who was the principal from summer 2013 to October.
North Catholic had 300 students this year, and it graduated 43 students last month.
The school ended its first year in its new building.
