Trial delayed in fatal shooting of officer
GREENSBURG — A man charged in the shooting death of a police officer responding to a domestic dispute won’t stand trial until next year.
A Westmoreland County judge has granted the defense of Ray Shetler Jr. more time to prepare motions for the case.
Shetler, of New Florence, is charged with first-degree murder in the Nov. 28 death of St. Clair Township Officer Lloyd Reed.
