NEVILLEWOOD — Five-time Butler Eagle County Amateur golf tournament champion Sean Knapp won the U.S. Senior Amateur Sectional qualifier Tuesday at The Club at Nevillewood.

Knapp carded a 2-under-par 70 to grab the lone qualifying spot for the U.S. Senior Amateur. Paul Schlachter of Bridgeville shot a 71 and John Rodney of Sewickley a 72 to earn the alternate berths.

New opponent set for Osterreider

Former Butler Cubs boxer Bobby Osterreider, who made his pro debut in May, has a new opponent for his second pro bout Saturday night at The Meadows casino in Washington County.

Osterreider (1-0) will face Justin Johnson (6-16), a fellow Pennsylvania fighter. Osterreider’s first scheduled opponent, Matt Murphy of St. Louis, Mo., pulled out of the fight Tuesday.
