Edward Leroy Brown, 89, of West Sunbury, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, at his residence.

He was born April 11, 1933, in Ridgeville, Pa., and was the son of the late Grover Franklin Brown and Naomi (Pisor) Brown.

Ed had attended Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church.

Ed served in the U.S. Air Force and received a Purple Heart for his time in the Korean conflict.

He retired from Zimmerman & Jansen in Texas, and had worked at Pulllman Standard for 18 years.

Surviving are his two sons, Joseph Brown of West Sunbury and Dewayne Brown of Hawaii; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; his stepchildren and several stepgrandchildren; and three sisters, Thelma Watterson, Eleanora Aiken and Edna Pearl (Buck) Lingal.

He was preceded in death by his three daughters, Venise Keith, Patricia Ross and Kathy Brown; and a grandson.

BROWN — Private service and interment for Edward Leroy Brown, who died Sunday, June 5, 2022, will be held in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, Butler.
