Carino “Carl” Galassi

Carino “Carl” Galassi
BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE

In memory of Carino “Carl” Galassi who answered God’s call on July 2, 2014.

Pap

He was a quiet man in many ways,

Who lived a good life and saw many days.

Had a love for many things especially the animals on this earth,

A great man was born when his mother gave birth.

Strong when he needed to be and caring just the same,

He never wanted anything even fortune and fame.

Those who were close to him felt a void when he was called away,

There were many who loved him who wished he could stay.

He is still with us and is closer than we know,

Where there is light and where there is a glow.

He’s in a place where there is no pain,

No evil, no hate, no malice, or destain.

I pray someday I’m worthy enough to join him again,

In a beautiful place where there is no sin.

Words don’t do the man justice that I hold so dear,

When I think about him it is hard not to shed a tear.

I shouldn’t be sad nor would he want me to be,

He’d want me to be happy and completely care free.

The struggles of this world can make things very rough,

Make you want to give in when times get tough.

Just remember he went through bad times just like you do,

That he went through pain and suffering too.

Remember there are great people just like this man,

Who lived the right way and know that you can.

Thank you for showing

and teaching me love.

You are my best friend.

Written by his grandson, Christopher Reeves.

Until we are reunited

with you again,

Love, Wife Anna

and Family
