Susan A. Bonefeste

Susan A. Bonefeste, 68, of Butler passed away Tuesday in Butler Memorial Hospital following an illness.

Born Sept. 20, 1950, in Grove City, she was a daughter of the late Winfred “Wink” McCool and Guylia McGill McCool.

She was employed for 35 years by the Office of Personnel Management.

Susan was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

She belonged to the Knights of Columbus Butler Council 866.

She is survived by her mother of Harrisville; two sons, Anthony Colosimo Sr. of Boyers, and Michael Bonefeste of Butler; her son-in-law, Dennis Derringer of Allison Park; her sister, Beverly Mathieson and her husband, Rick, of Mercer; her sister-in-law, Gina Young and her husband, Robert, of Chicora; three grandchildren, Anthony Colosimo Jr., Elizabeth Colosimo and Teagan Derringer; four nephews, Chad Heasley of Mercer, Jim Heasley of Harrisville, Brian Weiland and his wife, Lisa, of Freeport, and Travis Weiland and his wife, Elizabeth, of Bruin; and her beloved dog, Lois.

In addition to her father, Susan was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Bonefeste, who passed away May 4, 2005; and her daughter, Angela Derringer, who passed away Feb. 5, 2011.

BONEFESTE — Friends of Susan A. Bonefeste, who died Tuesday, March 26, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N.
