Roswell Frisbee
Roswell “Ben” B. Frisbee, 90, of DuBois, went to be with the Lord Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, surrounded by his family at home.
Born Dec. 3, 1930, in Valencia, he was the son of the late Roswell B. and Elwina (Bennett) Frisbee.
On June 30, 1951, he married Sarah “Chook” (Gross) Frisbee in Mars.
Ben graduated from Leetsdale High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army in France during the Korean War.Ben was a master carpenter by trade, and enjoyed woodworking, completing jigsaw puzzles and hunting.He was a past commander of the American Legion in Mars.Ben was a member of the Treasure Lake Church in DuBois.Ben is survived by his wife; five children, Julia (Glenn) Sanders of Centerville, Pa., Bennett L. (Dawn) Frisbee of Fenelton, Sigmund J. Frisbee of Treasure Lake, Justine L. Scolaro of Chippewa Township, and Roger B. (Christi) Frisbee of Glenshaw; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the last member of his immediate family.In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Lager.FRISBEE — There will be no public visitation for Roswell “Ben” B.
