James “Mac” Noel Malchano
James “Mac” Noel Malchano, 73, of Mars passed away Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born Dec. 13, 1942, he was the son of the late Frederick and Gertrude Straub Malchano.
Jim was Catholic. He retired from Batesville Casket Co. in 2010 after many years of service.
A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed riding his tractor, golfing and going out with friends. Jim also enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on all the Pittsburgh sports teams. His fondest memories were of his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Molly Sutch Malchano, who he married July 15, 1972; his children, Jodi (Victor) Yute of Cabot, Amy Malchano of Mars and Laura (Justin) Will of Mars; his grandchildren, Ethan, Abbey, Isabella, Cameron, Evan and Elijah; his brothers, Rick (Linda) Malchano of Callery and David (Joanna) Malchano of South Carolina; his sister, Mary (Steve) Denniston of New York, and his sister-in-law, Joan Malchano of Gibsonia.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Mark, and his sister, Phyllis.
MALCHANO — Friends of James “Mac” Noel Malchano, who died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Young, celebrant.
