Dad,

Your journey ended one year ago,

But you’ll always be with me.

Your hands have touched so many lives,

As they were meant to be.

Your hands have shaken so many others,

Wherever you would go.

From banking, church, boating and camping,

So many people you did know.

As we looked at your hands on that last day,

They served you well through all of this.

But they also tolda a story.

Of the hardworking, tough, strong hands we’ll miss.

When the day comes for us to depart,

When we meet you in Heaven above.

And see your face with mom and many others,

We’ll be together in God’s Heaven of love.

This amazing, awesome person,

This amazing loving man,

Thank you for loving us,

For it all began with your loving hands.
