Dorothy Leah Bloom
Dorothy Leah Bloom, 83, of Butler passed away Monday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born on April 10, 1931, in Canonsburg, the daughter of the late Adis Pollock and Leah Coleman Pollock.
Dorothy enjoyed doing puzzles and was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan. She was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Ron) McClelland of Butler; her son, Patrick (Cathy) Bloom of Butler; her six grandchildren, Nathan Walowen, Amanda Bloom, Christine Bloom, Patrick Bloom Jr., Dave Bowser Jr. and Rachel Bowser; her great-grandson, Jackson, and one great-grandson on the way, Jayden; her stepdaughter, Nancy Fulmer of Butler; her stepson, Mike Bloom of Butler; her several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; her sister, Pat Lou Forbis of Nevada; and her brother, Will Pollock of Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Bloom; her stepson, Larry Bloom; her three sisters; and five brothers.
Bloom— The friends of Dorothy Leah Bloom, who passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at theYoung Funeral Home, 127 W.
