Manual demolition of the former Hot Dog Shop building and the Reiber Building in downtown Butler will begin this morning.

Once that work by hand is done, equipment will be used to tear down the two buildings, said Ken Reilly of Ken Reilly Demolition, which is doing the work.

That major equipment work could begin Thursday.

The buildings, which are on Jefferson Street, are being torn down to make way for the Butler Brew Works, which will sell craft beer.
