Emily Wise sank two free throws with 25 seconds remaining Wednesday night to help the Butler County Community College women’s basketball team post a 58-57 win over CCAC-Boyce.

Katresa Savisky scored 15 points and contributed 10 rebounds for the Pioneers. Casey Fleeger had 13 points and 10 assists, and Ashley Campbell had 10 points.

Rachel Doutt scored eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds for BC3 (3-3).

In the men’s game, Antawane Davis recorded 14 points and eight rebounds in the Pioneers’ 117-57 loss to Community College of Beaver County.

Jordan Taylor added eight points and eight assists in a losing effort.

Mars graduate Ian Hindley played his first game for the Pioneers and scored 10 points.
