MONICA GLOMB (Mars), a pitcher on the Kutztown University softball team, recorded a no-hitter in a 14-0 victory over Lake Erie Sunday at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Fla. She also picked up a win earlier in the day against Philadelphia's University of Sciences. On Saturday, she threw a two-hitter in a 1-0 loss against Lewis College.•

MERRISSA MALCOLM (Freeport) placed third in the women's pole vault (3.2 meters) for Westminster College at the Marietta Track and Field Open in Ohio Saturday.•

DEREK PELUSO (Seneca Valley), a freshman outfielder for the Point Park University baseball team, had two hits in a 9-7 loss to Davenport (Mich.) at the Russ Matt Invitational in Lake Buena Vista (Fla.).•

ZOE HUGHES (Knoch), a freshman center fielder on the Point Park women's softball team, hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning to give the Pioneers a 9-8 victory over Susquehanna in the team's season opener in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.•

NICOLE REISER (Knoch), a senior on the Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team, recorded 11 points, six rebounds and seven assists in a 67-46 win over La Roche in the AMCC championship game Saturday. The win qualified UPG for the NCAA Division III Tournament.
