Graffiti vandal strikes
Butler police are asking the public to help identify a graffiti tagger who struck vehicles and buildings on the city’s south side between Saturday and Sunday. The graffiti, made in white and gray paint, ranged from the vandal’s symbol on this house in the 600 block of Center Avenue to obscene words and markings. More than a dozen vehicles were vandalized. Those vehicles were on South Bluff, West Wayne, South and Pepper streets, and Center, Ziegler, Standard, Donaghy and Glenn avenues. At least two garage doors in the 500 block of Center Avenue also were tagged. Anyone with information should call 911 and ask to speak with a city police officer.
