Matt Lobaugh poured in 31 points to lead the Butler County Community College men's basketball team to an 89-83 victory over Geneva Monday.

Moniteau grad Matt Goettler added 21 points and five steals, Joel Rehm (Butler) had 19 points, 10 assists and five steals and Grant Bailey had seven rebounds for the Pioneers (12-7), who will host CCAC-South Wednesday.

Charlie Pienaar recorded three wins in the 184-pound class by decisions Sunday to lead the Slippery Rock University effort at the 16th annual Wendy's Duals, hosted by Ashland (Ohio) University.As a team, The Rock (3-10) lost three matches - 27-9 to Kent State, 28-6 to Ashland and 30-6 to Northern Illinois.Pienaar (17-6) won a 3-2 decision against Kent, 3-1 against Ashland and 2-1 over Illinois.Heavyweight Matt Burkholder won two of his three matches, the lone defeat was a 9-3 loss against Ashland.
