Ingeborg Johanna “Sis” Wesley, 92, of Butler died at 2:45 a.m. Thursday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Aug. 2, 1921, in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Hannah Vogel, also of Germany.

Mrs. Wesley worked in human resources for Parker Hannifin Corp. in Des Plaines, Ill., where she retired in 1984. She enjoyed knitting, walking, gardening and going to her lake cottage in Green Lake, Wisc. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.

Mrs. Wesley is survived by two sons, Ron Wesley and his wife, Cathy, of Butler and Fred W. Wesley Jr. of Lafayette, Colo.; two grandsons, James Wesley of Butler and Justin Wesley of Denver, Colo.; two granddaughters, Christine Gialames and her husband, Brandon, of Harmony, Fla., and Caitlin Wesley Schiebel and her husband, Sean, of Butler; and two great-granddaughters, Ava Johanna Gialames and Alivia Caitlin Gialames, both of Harmony, Florida.

WESLEY — A private memorial service for Ingeborg Johanna “Sis” Wesley, who died Thursday, April 3, 2014, will be held later.Arrangements are handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Butler.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society of Greater Pittsburgh, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
