Marty Pennington

Marty Pennington, 51, of Richland Township died unexpectedly Saturday while hunting.

Born Dec. 4, 1960, in Harrison Township, Marty lived in Richland Township most of his life graduating from Richland High School in 1979. He worked in the receiving department for Lowes for the past eight years. Marty was a life member of the West Deer Volunteer Fire Department 3 and the Buffalo Valley Sportsman's Club, Buffalo Township. He enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include his mother, June J. (Setzenfand) Pennington Pelles, with whom he lived; his sisters, Diana L. (Kevin) Spath of West Deer and Vada M. Boland of Richland; and his aunts, Lucille L. (Sam) Croskey of Richland Township, Elaine Nase of Russellton and Eleanor Kane of Clinton Township.

He is preceded in death by his father, James M. Pennington, who died in 2007, and his brother James R. Pennington, who died in 2009.

<B>PENNINGTON</B> — Family of Marty Pennington, who died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the <B>SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME</B>, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township, where the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
