Slippery Rock Area High School
The Slippery Rock Area High School graduation will be at 7 p.m. June 2 at the Morrow Field House, Slippery Rock University.
The student speakers will be valedictorian Cassie Ray and salutatorian Amelia Schwarz.
Cassie is the daughter of Erica and Matthew ray of Portersville.
She was a member of the soccer team, the Wellness Club and the National Honor Society.
She plans to attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania, majoring in biology.
Amelia is the daughter of Brenda and Ethan Schwarz of Slippery Rock. She was a member of the Wellness Club, Interact Club, Ski Club, the cross country and track teams, the National Honor Society, the Ultimate Frisbee Club and the winter track team.
She plans to attend the University of Vermont, majoring in wildlife & fisheries biology.
Class officers are Emily Vajda, president: David Magliocca, vice president; Natalie Carlantonio, secretary; and Seaton Wozniak, treasurer.
