Our lives are but a journey filled with paths we each will take,

Our joys found in the love we give and friendships that we make.

The roads we choose along the way provide a chance to see,

The beauty in each person's heart and share its mystery.

Our fortunes aren't in what we have but how we think and feel,

It's caring for those close to us and sharing what is real.

And though we can't know how much time we'll share or just know why,

We have to let a loved one go and say that last goodbye.

We travel on through life and find the memories we hold dear,

Will keep our loved ones close at heart, their spirits always near.
