Hohn

Helen Marie Hohn, 86, of Chicora passed away at 1:10 p.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 7, 1923, in Butler, the daughter of the late Arthur W. Trimbur and the late Clara (Shuler) Trimbur.

Helen was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church and St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. She was a former junior counselor and was a member of CD of A.

Surviving are five sons; George Melvin Hohn of West Sunbury, Charles "Marty" (Sherry) Hohn of Chicora, Frank Shane (Betty) Hohn of Butler, John Hohn of Butler and Richard (Mary) Hohn of Chicora; five daughters, Gretchen (John) Clouse of Chicora, Sue (Jim) Love of Butler, Mary Lou (Rick) Bresnehan of Chicora, Becky (Ray) Elliott of Chicora and Nancy Schiebel of Butler; 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe (Corky) Trimbur; and three sisters, Suzy Reeves, Jeanne (Alan) Lowe and Carolyn (John) Grecco.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Martin Hohn, who died Aug. 27, 2007, two brothers and six sisters.
