Craft day planned in Evans CityEVANS CITY — The Evans City Public Library, 204 S. Jackson St., will celebrate “A Paper and String Christmas” for all ages from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.The event will be a Christmas craft day with make-and-take Christmas decorations, gingerbread houses, snow globes and refreshments.There is no admission fee for children. Donations will be accepted from adults.

Church sale has gifts, cookiesSaint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., will have a cookie walk from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 10. Use the Cliff Street entrance.Customers will choose their own combination of cookies. The cookies will be priced by the dozen.The youths of the church also will have an alternative gift sale. Proceeds will benefit people in the United States and around the world.

Main St., will have a Christmas cookie walk from 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 15 at the library.Participants will select four to five dozen cookies or a prepared cookie tray.
