Cranberry cruises to 14-2 win

Cranberry banged out 13 hits in five innings in defeating Karns City, 14-2, recently in Butler County Area Baseball League play.

Seve Balog hit a three-run homer and had four RBI. Alex Scalone added a two-run double and three RBI. Justin Dattoli had three hits and scored three runs.

Winning pitcher Jesse Clary reached base four times and scored three runs.

Meridian 3, Center Township 2 — Mason Strawn pitched a complete game for the win. Remy Pardo’s two-run single gave Meridian the lead.

Daniel Kline had two hits for Center Township.

Karns City 4, West Sunbury 3 — Nolan Riley tossed a complete game for the win. Luke Whitcomb had two singles and two RBI, Broc Weigle a single and two runs scored.

Joe Dehart added a single and RBI for KC. Nick Sosigian doubled and singled while Hunter Fitzingo had two singles for West Sunbury.

Saxonburg 15, Karns City 1 — James Flemm led the winners with three singles, two RBI and two runs scored. Sean McGill had a double, two singles and RBI, Ben McMillen two singles, two RBI and a pair of runs.

Noah Pollock had two singles and an RBI for Karns City. Gavin Schmoll singled and scored a run.
