Helmut Collasius passed away Thursday.

Helmut was born June 28, 1930, in Berlin, Germany.

He came to the U.S. in 1956. He worked for the F.B. Leopold Company, now known as XYLEM in Zelienople, from 1977 to 2008 as an engineering supervisor and consultant.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Karin Collasius; two sons, Robert and George Collasius; his daughter-in-law, Crystal (Kovach) Collasius; and his three grandchildren, Noah Jamison, and Charlotte and Matilda Collasius.

COLLASIUS — Friends and family of Helmut Collasius, who died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
