Bernard W. Osche
Bernard W. Osche, 83, of Penn Township, Berks County, formerly of Butler, passed away Thursday of natural causes in his home.
He was married to Dorothy (Trimbur) Osche. Bernard and Dorothy were married Oct. 24, 1953, and celebrated their 60-year anniversary on Thursday.
Born in Butler, he was the son of the late Walter Osche and Gertrude (Eyth) Osche.
He was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church in Reading.
In Butler, he was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church.
For 30 years, he was employed at the Pullman Standard Manufacturing plant in Butler, and for 10 years, he was employed by PennDOT in Muhlenberg Township.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for three years from 1946 until 1949.
He enjoyed bowling at Bowlarama, golfing and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In Butler, he was a former Boy Scout leader.
Additional survivors include his children, Jeffry Osche of Dillsburg, Pa., Jacqueline, the wife of Timothy Paulson, of Jefferson Township, Berks County, Donald Osche, the widower of Louise Osche, of California, Sandra Marburger of Flying Hills and Richard Osche, husband of Cynthia, of Pottstown.
There are five grandchildren, Bradley Kiddle, Amanda Goda, Justin and Shawn Marburger, and Carleen Paulson, and two great-grandsons, Tristan Goda and Braden Miller Kiddle, who survive.
There are four sisters, Marcella Coyle, Patricia Bachman, Rosie Zarnick and Ruth Raybuck, who also survive.
He was predeceased by one son, Anthony Osche, and by five siblings.

Main St., Bernville.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Central Avenue and Spring Street, Reading, with the Rev. John M.
