John W. Lintz
John W. Lintz, 83, of Butler passed away peacefully Saturday with his daughters and wife by his side.
Born on March 13, 1930, in Zelienople, he was the son of the late LeRoy and Myrtle (Goehring) Lintz.
John was an active employee of Marburger’s Dairy and loved farming and gardening. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta (McDade) Lintz of Butler; his two daughters, Patricia “Sherry” (Bruce) McClean of Fombell and Sylvia (Marty) Stein of New Brighton; his brother, Gerald D. (Vivian) Lintz of Rochester; his sister, Sandra (Charles) Butteri of Beaver Falls; his six grandsons; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Mary Lintz; his brother, David Lintz; and his three sisters, Jean, Jane and Darlene.
LINTZ — The family of John W. Lintz, who passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
