Richard Leonhard, 69, of Petrolia passed away Friday with his family at his side after a long illness.

Born Feb. 2, 1946, in Gibsonia, he was the son of the late Harry and Clara (Ritter) Leonhard. The quick witted Rich could fix anything and was a master of “tinkering in his garage.”

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janet (Robbins) Leonhard of Petrolia; his son, Timothy (Jennifer) Leonhard of Bethel Park; his daughters, Danielle (David) Bazner of Gibsonia and Robin (Joseph) Gigliotti of Allison Park; his grandchildren, Alex, Katie, Christopher and Ellena; his sister, Esther L. Ramsden of Richland Township; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Shirley Marburger.

LEONHARD — The family of Richard Leonhard, who died Friday, June 19, 2015, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2841 Woodland Circle, in Allison Park.The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
