Patricia L. Marburger
Patricia L. Marburger, 89, of Mars died on Monday in the comfort of her home.
Born in Valencia on Jan. 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Emerson H. “Bill” and Anna Linton English.
Patty ran the heart station at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township in the 1970s. She was active in Mars, having served many years on Mars Borough Council and also belonged to the Mars Historical Society.
She was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Shirley Brosenitsch of Mars and Barbara (James) Stephenson of Waynesburg; niece, Paula Eisenreich (Leo) of Mars; grandnephew, Jason Hardt of Winchester, Va.; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Marburger, who died on Aug. 6, 1994, and by a sister, Peggy Trout.
MARBURGER — Friends of Patricia L. Marburger, who died Monday, May 22, 2017, will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
