Mary L. Gratzer, 67, of New Castle, passed away Wednesday at the Groves at New Wilmington.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1950, a daughter of the late Herbert and Eva Myers Marburger.

She was the widow of Raymond Gratzer, whom she married in 1976.

Mary was a lifelong Butler County resident. She was employed as a deli clerk for the Giant Eagle Corp. for 26 years. A high school graduate, she was raised in the Lutheran faith.

Mary leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law Heather and Eric Brenner of New Castle (Jackson Knolls area); grandchildren, Addison and Drew Brenner; a sister and brother-in-law, Judy Pisano and Angelo of Ellwood City; and two brothers, James Marburger of Fombell and Herbert Marburger Jr.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

GRATZER — A private family graveside memorial service for Mary L. Gratzer, who passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, will be held at a future date.Arrangements have been entrusted to the Terry A. Cunningham Funeral Home.
