CHERRY TWP — A fourth person has died as the result of a head-on van-truck crash early this morning on Route 308, less than two miles south of Moniteau High School.

The latest fatality is the driver of the pickup truck. He died at Grove City Medical Center. A state police accident reconstruction specialist said the southbound van crossed into the northbound lane.

Three occupants of the van died at the scene. Four other occupants of the van were seriously injured.

Police have not yet released names of the victims.
