Gary E. Duerring
Gary E. Duerring, 66, of Butler passed away peacefully Friday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, surrounded by his family.
Born May 7, 1949, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Edward Duerring and Opal (McCarty) Duerring.
Gary had worked for the Leff-Marvin Dry Cleaning Co. in Pittsburgh for 34 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and bowling and was an avid football fan.
Surviving are his wife, Barb (Tomaro) Duerring, who he married Feb. 7, 1970; three daughters, Christine (Troy) Mohney, Stacey (Tom) Vensel and Lori (Nick) Sprowl, all of Butler; six grandchildren, Tate Mohney, Landon Mohney, Blane Mohney, Cooper Vensel, Brantley Vensel and Adalyn Sprowl; and one sister, Sharon (Kurt) Allenbaugh of Pittsburgh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kent Duerring.
DUERRING — Family and friends of Gary E. Duerring, who died Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, are invited for visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
